Hi! I'm Emily.
I’m a content and SEO specialist who likes making the internet more human and (ideally) a little easier to navigate.
I’ve spent the last 7+ years working across content and editorial strategy, SEO, and digital marketing—helping brands figure out what they actually want to say, who they’re saying it to, and how to show up when and where it matters. I’m especially interested in the intersection of search, accessibility, content, and emerging platforms (including AI-powered discovery), and I love translating messy ideas into clear, human-centered experiences.
I’ve worked with brands ranging from small businesses to established consumer companies, often stepping into roles that didn’t exist yet and helping define what “good” content looks like from the ground up. My bread and butter is effective, creative content strategies with a laser focus on helping the end user answer their query.
I’m curious, thoughtful, and love to experiment. I care about clarity, good questions, and work that actually solves problems. I'm also a staunch advocate that ChatGPT did not ruin em dashes. I was using them first!
I value kind, honest teams that are capable of laughing at themselves and want to break things apart together. Bonus points if you're looking for someone to bring pop culture fun facts to every meeting.
If you’re here because you’re curious about how I think—or whether we might work well together—welcome. I’m glad you’re here.
WHEN I'M NOT WORKING...
I can be most likely be found at a local thrift or secondhand vinyl shop, indie bookstore, or on a patio that understands the value of both coffee and cocktails.
When at home, I'm most often cooking, crafting, writing, reading, or experimenting with some unlikely combination of all of the above.
I prefer window seats over the aisle, in-theater over streaming, ink over keyboards, and sunset over sunrise (most of the time, anyway).
